Inspired by his mother, Quigley began painting Audrey in the late 1980s after watching Breakfast at Tiffany's and learning of Hepburn's selfless commitment to UNICEF and fighting world hunger. He created several Audrey paintings long before her image became ubiquitous, drawn to her humanitarian legacy as much as her elegance.

The original 8ft painting was purchased in 2004 by Related Real Estate founder and philanthropist Robert Beal, who hung it across from his desk alongside a giant work by Georg Baselitz.  Other artists in the collection included Anselm Kiefer, George Condo, Cy Twombly, de Kooning, Julian Schnabel, Cindy Sherman, Cecily Brown, and Gilbert and George. Following Robert's passing in 2020, Audrey was donated to the Boston MFA Beal Wing Archive.

In 2014, Custom Cool and GoodWeave created a 12 x 9 ft hand-woven rug replica of the painting and sold it at benefit auction for $30,000 to help stop child slave labor globally.

A 2011 Audrey print sold at benefit auction for $9,500.

Hand-signed, artist-supervised, archival museum-quality print. Limited edition of 30.
